I think the close conference matches within the Tri-9 and Cap-8 have helped create some buzz in the wrestling community this year.

One problem we have in the state in general as far as generating more top flight match ups is the way the regional tournaments are set up. Since it's based on records, a lot of teams look for ways to pad their kids records to make sure they get into the regional tournament with a good seed.
