Scotland of course has Kee and Soto Perez, but they have several other kids who tough wrestlers. The program is in much better shape than even just a year ago. I see them as a tough out in the state duals. Just a few too many holes to make the deep run, but they are a lot more than a two trick pony!

Kee did easily win the Boneyard but Soto Perez was upset in the finals. Couple of other results that caught my eye was Clark over Griggs at 126 and Wanovich taken to OT before prevailing 2-0 vs Kimmerly.

Under the no surprise category, Jack Britt looks clearly the best east of Parkland. I think they could make it interesting in the state duals finals and with an upset or two could surprise Parkland. They wiill need to pull an upset or two though!

I will be at the Rainey in Knightdale that have Orange, Cleveland, PC, West Johnston, which is good competition but not quite the level of the boneyard. Sarah Wilkes next week in Eden might shape up to be a good tournament. We will see :)

Jack Britt is hosting the Boneyard tournamet this weekend. Its usually pretty tough. No Parkland this year, but Britt is really strong, a tough Cary team will be there, Scotland I heard will be there. Any other area teams? This is the last big tough tournament I know remaining this year.
