Anyone have any predictions on the Tri-Nine's rankings?

I think the top five will be very competitive and could compete with the likes of Millbrook if they come to play!

Look for a competitive middle of the pack. I think coaching matters a lot. #1 and #2 could flip easy but after that it is literally up for grabs. Athens could move up. None of these teams will beat Millbrook!!

ntheweeds...while I agree with you that the #3-6 positions are up in the air and will come down to preparation and coaching, I am struggling to understand Green Hope finish on top. I agree to be the best, you need to beat the best, but your talking about replacing or manufacturing 30+ points, 10+ rebounds and leadership in key moments for that team. I see GH as very competitive, they just don't have the roster that Holly Springs or Cary have. IMO

You want to talk about leadership..hope you are not referring to Gaff..cause I wouldn't call that leadership. Holly Springs does have the best player and that will certainly give them a chance to win it. Don't think Cary will get any higher than 3rd mainly due to leadership.

Watch out for Middle Creek girls to move up this year, they now have Tyler Ross,
an outstanding young lady that transferred from Union Pines. She is a 5'11"
southpaw who can jump out of the gym. She averaged 15 points and 12 rebounds
per game last season, also good FT shooter. Just an outstanding person and
BB player!

Actually, I did not give Tyler Ross enough credit, her actual correct stats
for last year were 16.7 points per game and 13.8 rebounds per game. She is special player and will be a big help to Middle Creek.

Great player for union pines. They will really miss her. Congratulations. Coach Robbie. Not only is she an outstanding bb player,she is also one of the top softball players. In the state.

I see a lot of talk about leadership and not what wins games DEFENSE and Cary has one of the best shot blockers in the state. And Cary has new leadership with a new head coach.

Keep an eye on Lee County this year. They have a new point guard that can fly and they have Olivia Sturdivant back as the most shut down defensive player in the league. They still will have a losing record no doubt, but they may sneak up and bite you if you are not careful. Ike Godfrey has them looking up for a change.
