Wilson resigns as Leesville Road football coach

— Brad Wilson has resigned as the head football coach at Leesville Road High School, HighSchoolOT.com has confirmed.

Wilson took over the program in 2015, replacing Mike Hobgood. In his two seasons as the head coach, Wilson led the Pride to a record of 11-13, including a 6-6 mark last season.

Leesville Road made the state playoffs in each of Wilson's two seasons.

Wilson came to Leesville Road from Westminster High School in Maryland. He was the head coach at Westminster for 11 seasons.

Leesville Road will be a member of the new Cap 7 Conference this fall as the new realignment goes into place.
