Wake Forest senior OLB Javon Terry commits to UNC

Raleigh, N.C. — Wake Forest senior outside linebacker Javon Terry has committed to UNC-Chapel Hill, sources confirmed to HighSchoolOT Sunday afternoon.
Terry also held offers from East Carolina, Marshall, NC State and Wake Forest.
The Tar Heel commit tallied 52 tackles, seven passes defended and four interceptions last season with the Cougars, playing an integral role in Wake Forests’ march to the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4AA state title.
Terry posted a season-high eight tackles in Wake Forest’s 7-6 victory against E.A. Laney in the second round of the NCHSAA state playoffs.
In three seasons with Wake Forest’s varsity team, Terry has compiled 119 tackles, six interceptions, one forced fumble and one sack. Terry has averaged four tackles per game in his career and has recorded at least 50 tackles in each of the last two seasons.
