Wake Forest's Lex Goodwin offered by Campbell

— Wake Forest wide receiver Lex Goodwin received an offer from Campbell University Sunday evening, the senior announced via Twitter.

Goodwin tallied nine catches for for 224 yards and three scores last season in his junior campaign. In two seasons on the Cougars' varsity level squad, Godwin has recorded 517 all-purpose yards and six touchdowns.

The rising senior also appeared on the defensive side of the ball for Wake Forest, recording 14 tackles in 12 games.

Campbell also extended a scholarship offer to Middle Creek senior wide receiver Jordan Mitchell on Monday.

The Camels will join the Big South Conference in 2018 after 10 seasons in the non-scholarship Pioneer Football League.
