J.F. Webb senior and University of North Carolina recruit Isaiah Hicks was named the Carolina 6 Player of the Year in boys basketball. Slideshow     Boys Basketball: J.F. Webb vs. Chapel Hill (Mar. 1, 2013) Our lens on Isaiah Hicks

Hicks scored 34 points and brought in 30 rebounds in Saturday's 3-A state championship game, leading the Warriors to the title for the first time in school history.

Chapel Hill coach Tod Morgan was named the league's Coach of the Year. The Tigers tied Webb for the regular season title.

Northern Vance received the Sportsmanship Award.

Roy said on the radio yesterday "We will be going back to 2 big guys next season." I think that was confirmed after Isaiah's 30 rebound performance. Same lineup as this year except substitute Hicks for Strickland. Paige, Hairston, Bullock, Hicks, McAdoo. McDonald, Meeks, Britt, Hubert and Simmons off the bench. This team will contend for a title.
