— For much of the game, it looked like the third round girls soccer match-up between Leesville Road and Green Hope would be a low-scoring affair.

But that wasn't the case as undefeated Green Hope breezed to a 5-0 win over the Pride.

In the 8th minute, Green Hope scored its first goal when Izzy Brown found the back of the net. The Falcons took a 1-0 lead into halftime.

It was in the second half when the Falcons pulled away.

Grace Wagner scored in the 61st minute, then in the 63rd minute, Brown scored her second goal of the game, pushing the Falcons' lead to 3-0.

Green Hope wasn't done. In the 65th minute, Catherine Holbrook scored to make it 4-0, then four minutes later Audrey Cooke scored the final goal of the game for the Falcons.

The Falcons are unbeaten and untied this season, sitting at 23-0. Green Hope will host Hoggard in the fourth round of the state playoffs on Friday at 6:30 p.m.
