The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders crushed host Southern Vance Friday, 45-7.

In the first quarter, with a 14-7 lead, Gibbons' Danny Schult rushed in from the 12 to add another Crusader touchdown. The extra point made the score 21-7.

In the second, quarterback Shawn Stankavage passed left into Southern Vancce territory to Ben Grazen who carried the ball out of bound at the Southern Vance 21. On the next play, Stankavage hit Dante DiMaggio at the five. He finished that play up in the end zone for the 28-7 lead.

Southern Vance (4-3, 0-2 Carolina 6) travels to Orange next week. Cardinal Gibbons (1-0, 2-0 Carolina 6) goes on the road to play Northern Vance.
