South Johnston High School will serve as the host for the first Shrine Bowl Combine of the 2013 combine season.
The combine, open to rising seniors of N.C. High School Athletic Association member schools only, will be held on Mar. 23.
Shrine Bowl Combines are used by the coaching staff of the Shrine Bowl team to help select players for the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas. Each athlete must pay $20 to participate.
Athletes can only participate in one Shrine Bowl Combine. Players should bring a video tape to give to Shrine Bowl coaches for evaluation.
Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. for kickers, punters and long snappers, and at 10 a.m. for position players. Kickers, punters and long snappers will begin at 10 a.m., position players will begin at 11 a.m.
