The Tarboro Vikings (14-0, 6-0 Eastern Plains) advanced to the 2A state championships with a 46-0 win over South Columbus.
Tarboro opened up with a quick touchdown on a run by Travonne Marshall. Opting for a two-point conversion the Vikings went up 8-0.
In the second quarter, Radja Bobbit found the endzone on a short five yard touchdown run. The two-point conversion didn't hit as the Vikings took a 14-0 lead.
Opening up the third quarter Tarboro didn't lose their stride. Quentin Roberson broke a long run up the middle for a touchdown. The Vikings cruised to a 46-0 win over South Columbus.
Tarboro will face No. 1 East Lincoln (14-0) at BB&T Field on Dec. 1 at 11 a.m. for the title.
