South Brunswick athletic director retires

Athletic director John Floyd of South Brunswick High School has announced his retirement effective March 1, according to various media reports including WECT-TV.

Floyd is in his second stint as athletic director at South Brunswick, taking over in 2008. In all, he has been at the school for 17 years.

Principal Brock Ahrens praised Floyd’s work. No schedule was announced for filling the vacancy at the Brunswick County school.
