Snow postpones some area basketball games

Central North Carolina saw a brief dose of winter weather on Thursday night and early Friday morning, but despite the brevity of the event, high school basketball schedules have been impacted.

Some school systems decided to close on Friday, mainly in the north and west parts of the HighSchoolOT.com coverage area. Generally, when a school system closes, teams are not allowed to hold practices or games.

HighSchoolOT.com is tracking area game changes.
