Nash Central's Lindsey Sharpe is one of the region's best softball pitchers who bats nearly .400. She is also a volleyball captain, an all-conference swimmer, an honor student and volunteers at a nursing home. She is this week's winner of Tom Suiter's Extra Effort Award.
