Person High School will have a new head football coach again this season.

Doug Robertson resigned from his position at Person to take over the program at Eastern Guilford High School in Greensboro.

Robertson came to Person last season and was 3-8 in his single campaign with the Rockets. Prior to his stint in Roxboro, Robertson was the head coach at Reidsville High School for three seasons, posting a 36-7 overall record and winning the 2009 N.C. High School Athletic Association 2-AA state championship.

Person immediately named longtime assistant coach David Kleine as Robertson's replacement.
