Update on Mike Lee - He is currently the starting point guard for Jordan as a freshman and is averaging over 8 a game. You still see growing pains in his game from time to time (he put up a horrible performance in Wakefield game), but overall he has handled himself well. He is still developing. Consistency, leadership, strength, etc, all that should develop in time. Interesting to see what he looks like as a senior.

AllStar Preps will be at his game Dec 2nd vs Enloe. Looking forward to seeing him go. Not flash, just a good solid point guard at this time.

AllStar preps watched Panther Creek shut Jordan down last night. The Catamounts were lead by David Robertson (a junior), whose 33 points easily led all scorers for the night. He also threw in 5 rebounds and an assist for good measure. He does not have the eye popping moves or jump out of the gym ability but he does know how to play the game and gets the most out of what he has to work with. He has good vision on the floor, always has his head up scanning ahead. He was one of the few on either team to show good movement without the ball as well. He showed deep range on his jumper (beyond the 3), and got set up quick and got his shot off all night with ease. He was active on the defensive end as well but is not what you would call a standout in this area. He is a tough all around player and made good decisions with the ball. David has the ability to play at the next level, but I do not see huge growth in his future. He is what he is, a good tough player.

There was a bright spot for the Falcons though and that came in the form of freshman Mike Lee. He scored 10 with 3 rebounds and an assist and looked like he belonged on the floor. He has some things to work on, like keeping his head up and seeing the floor better. Has a good jumper with range out to 3 (2-4 from deep) and got his points within what little flow there was to be had in the Jordan offense. He has good speed with the ball in his hands and goes right to the rim on the break. Has a tendency to pick up his dribble a bit early and telegraphed a few passes but as his game grows those are habits he should come out of. I really look forward to seeing him grow over the next 4 years.
