Raleigh Ravenscroft, a defending champion of the HighSchoolOT.com Holiday Invitational, used a big second quarter to shake off NCISAA rival Wilson Greenfield, 68-54, in the Summit Hospitality bracket.
The Ravens outscored the Knights 19-7 in the pivotal second quarter to advance to Thursday's 5:40 p.m. semifinal against either Charlotte United Faith Academy or Southborough (Mass.) St. Mark's; United Faith and St. Mark's play their quarterfinal game at 9 p.m. Wednesday.
Ravens coach Kevin Billerman said his team performed better than it did in a three-point loss at Greenfield earlier this season.
"I thought we had a very solid game tonight," Ravens coach Kevin Billerman said. "I thought, defensively, we were much better than the first time we played them."
Ravenscroft put four players into double figures; the Ravens were led by Louisville commitment Anton Gill's 23 points and nine rebounds. Madison Jones finished with 15 points for the Ravens, while Marcus Bryan (15 points) and Andrew Franz (12) also scored in double figures.
Greenfield was led by Sam Hughes' 19 points and 11 rebounds. Jordan Sharpe added 10 points for the Knights, while Wake Forest commitment Aaron Rountree had nine points and 11 rebounds.
"We're disappointed that we didn't come out and play well," Greenfield coach Rob Salter said. "We played hard and I don't doubt our effort; we just didn't execute and make some shots."
