There's a new No. 1 team in the boys basketball poll this week.
Person takes over the top spot after Millbrook suffered back-to-back losses to Knightdale and Apex last week. The Wildcats dropped to No. 9 in the poll.
The Rockets are 4-0 on the season, and have a big game on Friday against No. 3 J.F. Webb.
Broughton, Webb, Clayton and Green Hope round out the top five in the boys poll.
Smithfield-Selma dropped out of the poll this week after moving in at No. 10 last week. Wake Forest-Rolesville replaces the Spartans at 3-0 on the season.
Millbrook's girls basketball team remains ranked No. 1 in the girls poll with a 4-0 record. Broughton's girls moved into the poll at No. 7 with a 3-0 record. Sanderson dropped to No. 10 with a 2-1 record.
Panther Creek dropped out of the poll to make room for the undefeated Capitals.
