Southwest Onslow crushes Northampton. 50-6

Northampton saw their season end in unceremonious fashion Friday night, 5-6 against host Southwest Onslow in the Class 1-AA NCHSAA football playoffs.

Southwest Onslow's  Demonte Winbush started the scoring on a rush up the middle from his own 40, 60 yards for the 7-0 lead.

Late in the first, Shack Pershey on the QB keeper scores from two yards out and Southwest Onslow leads 14-0.

In the second, Pershey added a one-yard run for the 22-0 lead.

Southwest simply poured it on. When Pershey couldn't run, he would pass. From the Northampton 14, he found J'Hide Brown for the 29-0 lead. 

Right before the half, it was Winbush again. Off the left tackle, he dragged people with him in for the score.

Southwest Onslow led 37-0 at the half en route to the 50-6 win.
