NCCA to host kids clinics during All-Star Week

Next week, in conjunction with the N.C. Coaches Association East-West All-Star Games in Greensboro, basketball and football clinics will be held for kids ages 8-12.

The basketball clinic is scheduled for Monday, July 17, from 3-5 p.m. at the Grimsley High School gymnasium. The football clinic will be held on Tuesday, July 18, from 6-8 p.m. at the Grimsley football practice field behind the tennis courts.

The clinics are free, but space is limited to the first 200 participants in basketball and 400 in football.

Participants in the camp will receive a free water bottle, clinic t-shirt, a ticket to the corresponding all-star game and free Chick-fil-a food.

Registration must be done online at EastWestAllStars.com. The online registration includes a liability waiver that must be signed in order to participate.

The East-West All-Star Games are scheduled for July 17-19 in Greensboro. Boys and girls basketball games will be played on Monday at the Greensboro Colisum, boys and girls soccer games will be played on Tuesday at MacPherson Stadium, and the football game and fireworks show will take place on Wednesday at Grimsley High School.
