— Clayton sophomore defensive end Savion Jackson announced Friday via Twitter that he has received a scholarship offer from North Carolina State University.

Jackson also holds an offer from the University of South Carolina.

The 6 foot 3, 245-pound lineman tallied 51 tackles with a team-high 19.5 for loss and led the Comets with seven sacks.

Jackson also registered one safety and a forced fumble in his sophomore campaign.
