Leesville Road's offense began to pick up more in the second half, but by that time it was too late.

Millbrook was led in scoring by Chris Clemons' 19 points, all of which came in the first half. Robert Brown and Carlee Clemons both posted 11 points for the Wildcats.

Every player on the Millbrook roster scored at least two points on Wednesday night.

Leesville Road was led by Greyson Kelley's 17 points. Sanders Rohs added 15 points for the Pride and Brandon Staves scored 12 points.

Millbrook will travel to Enloe on Friday night as the second half of the Cap 8 season gets underway. The Wildcats went through the first round of conference play without a loss and sit atop the league.

Leesville Road will host Heritage on Friday night. The two teams are in a four-way tie for third place with Sanderson and Wake Forest, so the game could have playoff implications down the  road.
