Millbrook's Cooper commits to Syracuse

Millbrook High School wide receiver Corey Cooper has made a verbal commitment.
According to Millbrook football coach Clarence Inscore, Cooper verbally committed to Syracuse this weekend while on an official visit.
"Syracuse is a great school, and there going to the ACC, which is a plus," Cooper said on Sunday afternoon. "The coaches are really cool and I can tell they want to win."
Prior to the offer from Syracuse, Cooper had established a relationship with new offensive coordinator George McDonald. Before being named the offensive coordinator at Syracuse, McDonald was the wide receivers coach at Miami.
Cooper, a 6-foot and 185-pound senior, committed to Louisville in July, but he rescinded his commitment in December.
During his senior season, Cooper posted over 500 receiving yards for the Wildcats. Millbrook was 3-8 overall in 2012, including a 2-5 mark in the Cap 8 4-A Conference.
Earlier this month, Cooper took part in the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl in California. He is a 3-star recruit according to Scout.com.
