FINAL Millbrook 44 Bunn 20: The Millbrook cruised to an easy victory over Bunn in a battle of Lady Wildcats in Game 1 of the MIX 101.5 Girl's tournament of the HighSchooltOT.com Holiday Invitational. Millbrook used tenacious defense and off shooting night from Bunn to put this game away midway through the 3rd quarter. Bunn had a stretch from midway thru the 1st quarter to late in the 3rd quarter where they did not score a single point. Bunn tied the record for fewest points in a Holiday Invitational game and set a record for fewest field goals in a game (6).
Millbrook was led in scoring by Briana Day's 12 points. Bunn was paced by Chepirah Neal with 13 points.
Millbrook will now face the winner of Riverside-Panther Creek in the winner's bracket. Bunn will face the loser of Riverside-Panther Creek. Follow all the action on highschoolot.com
END 3Q Millbrook 33 Bunn 13: Millbrook now pouring it on against Bunn in Game 1 of the MIX 101.5 Girl's tournament. Bunn however, is showing signs of life, as they scored their first bucket since the first quarter late in the third quarter and finished the quarter with a little flurry of baskets.
HALFTIME: Millbrook 21 Bunn 6: The Bunn Lady Cats went scoreless in the 2nd quarter of the game, allowing Millbrook to extend their lead. Both teams are struggling mightily from the field in the first half. Millbrook is shooting 33%, while Bunn is shooting 18% from the field with 11 turnovers.

Millbrook led by UNC recruit Briana Day, have been able to get to the basket at ease thus far. Bunn has stayed in the game behind the three point shooting from guard Chepirah Neal.
