Millbrook High School running back Marcus Marshall picked up an Atlantic Coast Conference offer this weekend.

According to Millbrook coach Clarence Inscore, Marshall received an offer from Wake Forest to continue his football career.

Marshall stands at 5-foot-10 and 200 pounds. As a junior last season, Marshall rushed for about 1,000 yards with eight touchdowns. He also scored two receiving touchdowns and two touchdowns off kickoffs.

Wake Forest is not Marshall's first offer though. Marshall also has offers from Army, Boston College, Elon, Furman, and Holy Cross.

Last season, Millbrook compiled a 10-4 overall record, including a 5-2 mark in the Cap 8 4-A Conference. The Wildcats made a run to the third round of the state playoffs where it fell to eventual state runner-up Wake Forest in quadruple overtime.
