Millbrook's girls basketball team jumped out to a 17-0 lead in the first quarter on its way to a 57-30 win over Enloe on Wednesday night.
Syracuse recruit Briana Day played her first game of the season for the Wildcats against Enloe, scoring 12 points in the winning effort.
Millbrook led Enloe 19-4 after the first quarter and extended that lead to 29-10 by halftime.
Things didn't get any closer in the second half as the Wildcats outscored the Eagles 22-8 in the third quarter.
Mykia Jones led the Wildcats with 13 points and Day's 12 points. Eight Millbrook players scored in the game.
"It's nice to have 'Big' back in the rotation. Her coming back is just at the right time for us because we are experiencing some injuries to our starters," Millbrook coach Chris East said of Day's return. "Her motor is nonstop, so she will bring some more intensity to our team, especially at the defensive end of the floor. It was awesome to see her back in action tonight."
Enloe was led by Brianna Lee and Candice Jones' seven points each.
Millbrook, the No. 1 team in the HighSchoolOT.com OT Top 10 Poll and the No. 2 team in the NCPreps.com statewide media poll, moves to 17-0 on the season and 7-0 in the Cap 8 Conference.
The Wildcats will take on Broughton on the road at Holliday Gymnasium on Friday night. Millbrook has already beaten Broughton once this season.
Enloe's next game will be at home on Friday against Leesville Road.
