Middle Creek quarterback David Salmon has committed to play college football at Campbell, Mustangs head coach Mike Castellano said Thursday.

The 6'2", 190-pound senior led Middle Creek to an 11-2-0 record and an undefeated season in conference play over the 2012-13 season.

Over the fall Salmon passed for 3,300 yards, 36 touchdowns and rushed for six.

Salmon was named the Tri-9 Offensive Player of the Year, as he helped Middle Creek to the conference championship and the No. 2 seed in the state playoffs.

Not only does Salmon excel in football he is a state champion baseball player and was a recipient of the Tom Suiter Extra Effort Award this year.
