Middle Creek offensive lineman Ryan Dowell verbally committed to Campbell over the weekend.

Mustangs coach Mike Castellano confirmed Dowell's commitment to HighSchoolOT.com.

Dowell stands at 6-foot-6 and 305-pounds. As a tackle at Middle Creek, Dowell earned 1st Team All-Conference honors, helping the Mustangs to a Tri-9 Conference championship with an 8-0 league record.

The Mustangs were 11-2 overall last season, falling to Leesville Road in the second round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4-AA state playoffs.

Middle Creek quarterback David Salmon recently committed to Campbell as well.
