This game is a toss up....last time these two schools came back from the holidays it was anybody's game so depending on what the tempo may be could go either way...

I would have to go with Garner. Until someone in the conference steps up and beats them, they are the king. Hopefully it will happen this year.

wow, suprised by the blowout. Had seen both teams play this year, would've thought Kdale would have and advantage. 36 pt blowout, WTH happened to Kdale, was it officitaing, injuries, coaching strategy. That's embarrassing to lose by darn near 40. Heard Kdale dealing with injuries, is Shabazz hurt

Soph PG Julius Barnes is the real deal - with defense and passing he can dominate a game without scoring a point. He is just scratching the surface... Shabazz played well but was contained. Garner just seemed more ready to play and energized, especially in the 2nd half. 10 point half time lead turned to 20 after 3, and 36 by the end, even with reserves playing the last few minutes. Not sure they can hold off Clayton this year, but Garner is a young team that is fighting hard to defend their 5 year conference title run...

The injuries they had wouldn't have changed things much...too many turnovers by the knights...this team plays too much man to man defense when they don't have the personnel in the game to do that with...that's what zone D is for so that those same kids have energy to score points... GT ran zone most of the night which kept the ball on the perimeter for the knights...
