person rockets

person rockets

Aand Torain should learnbe to gothe straight upfrom after hework gets ire flat out not a very good team...They have a good amount of talent, yet rely way too much on Outlaw. Outlaw has some skill, but his shot selection leaves a lot to be desired, he shoots very few shotss on balance or squared up. Their guards provide little spacing or movement off the ball. That said their guards do a decent job of penetrating past the first line, bit rarely kick it out to the open shooters on the perimeter. They should be a better sum of their parts. Coats should be a lot more involved than he is...

RE: person rockets

Outlaw is a beast! That kid has nothing but upside nothing but!

RE: person rockets

Spell check homey, type in word then copy and paste!!! PHS is a good team with role players that play their roles well. That team goes as Outlaw goes. He open everything up for the others to drive, he is the reason Coates can get open looks. In the holiday tournament I think their early nonconference schedule hurt them. I think they seen little to no athletic teams except Webb and played them tough. I think they have kinks to workout just like most teams right now, yet I still think they have to be considered one of the top teams in PAC-6

RE: person rockets

I disagree, I dont believe it is a matter of working out kinks. A kid has a player wide open in front of him and he looks to Outlaw (with 3 people on him). Outlaw then shoots and off balance jump shot with 3 ppl on him. I would hate to see Outlaw's shooting percentage and his TOs.

Their guards drive with heads down, their offense does not have spacing, movement, read screens, etc...It does not seem to be a 'kinks' thing.

RE: person rockets

A truly good/great player makes those players around him better. I do not see that currently happening @ Person. For example look @ Webb and what Hicks is doing to make the players around him better. The N & O article today said that Hicks was averaging 7 assists per game. It doesn't matter how many points a game a player is scoring if the team is still losing. Need to be a leader on & off the court.

RE: person rockets

@buriser mcgee obviously you only saw one game at a conference. You knows nothing Outlaw had 39 pts against the no. 1 player in the state!! He can shoot in or out shots. If Hicks couldn't stop him no one can. Plus, in both games against Webb Outlaw scored 29 points to Hicks 25 and in the second game in the 2nd game Outlaw had 39 to Hicks 16. Hicks got in foul trouble trying to stop Outlaw. Now as far as the team 2 of their best players were out Porky Outlaws right hand forward/3 man was sick. Outlaw and many of the other team members were sick with this cold going around and Outlaw still you got 39 points a game. Outlaw draw the defense to do what he do it's part of the plays. His shooting percentage is 50%. Plays are for the team to understand not spectators. Driving with your head down may look as if you are doing something wrong but how do it fit in the play. Your vision and Sensory images must be king and as long as your eyes are on the whole court and you know what you are doing, in other words know your ROLE, then you need not Know anything more.
Now Outlaws assist will be higher if others were making more points. But the team is a team and they make it off of each other. They play their roles. Outlaw, Smith, and Coates has a serious jump shot. Hamlett and Scoggins has a great lay ups and defensive plays. The teams leader is Outlaw but they are all for each other and works as a team. You can't watch two playoff games and think you know the whole story. I MEAN REALLY!!

RE: person rockets

You cant judge a team off of Torain. LOL are you serious. Outlaw has a tremendous amount of skills. More than you can even imagine. He is all he want to be when he wants to be it. He was sick and game was off more but you still got 39 points the second game after the storm and with illness. Hamlett was out sick and this required readjustments. The PSH squad is truly a team and you will see a difference when some are out. They rely on each other and OUTLAW because that how it is with teams. Like the Lakers use to rely on MJ and Miami rely Labron. I mean do you know that all teams has leadsmen. PSH is the best. Enough SAid. Luckymack73 has said all it is to be said. They rise as a team, make mistakes as a team, and fall as a team. They know their roles and plays.

RE: person rockets

Recent results show that I guess I wasn't that far off...

RE: person rockets

The key word here is, 'losing'...

Factors, perhaps...Facts, take another look...

RE: person rockets

Both factors and facts. Factors are things that contributes or create a situation. Facts are the none arguable points. They both are considered

RE: person rockets

LOL, quite the English lesson...Much appreciated, my dude.

That said, I feel pretty certain you did not understand my post.

Person has good players and should be a very good team. They are not, they are not a good team at all. They do not run any type of feesible offense, they play slack and with no intensity on defense, the secondary players play with no confidence and Outlaw plays with way to much confidence.
