Although still very early in conference play, Reggie Traywick appears to be the front runner for player of the year. Despite being without at least one key player most of the time, his play has kept Sanderson competitive and in every game with a chance to win. He has been been asked to fill alot of roles each game and has been on the court most of the time. It appears in tough games on the road he's at his best, scoring 24 at Garner, 29 at Knightdale, and 31 the other night at Panther Creek, in addition he continues to look for the open man or best available shot.
