There is no greater impact player in the GNRC than Claytons Gary Clark. They are an average team without him.

Certainly Clark is the class of the league (and maybe the Triangle area) with his ability to score, rebound, and defend. But Garner sophomore PG Julius Barnes has already shown the ability to take over games with his playmaking and scoring, not to mention an almost uncanny ability to pick pockets while guarding on the perimeter.

J Barnes plays above his level no doubt, however Garner just got past Sanderson the other night without Parker Fennema. Reggie Traywick for Sanderson led all scores with 24. They meet again this Friday at Sanderson. Should be a good one.

Yeah, Garner definitely struggled with Sanderson's size and physicality - lot of missed layups and 4 footers in the paint. Don't know much about Fennema, but trip to Sanderson for rematch could be tough for Garner this Friday.

Gary Clark and Gaskins for clayton are huge talents. Julius Barnes for Garner is another good player. Shabazz for knightdale is very intertaining to watch. He can slip and slide between players and make near impossible shots. But Gary Clark is MVP no doubt
