Who cares about what Georgia schools are playing Virginia schools or what they get paid in other states? The schools should hire the best person for the job and they shouldn't have to work at the school or for the sysytem. Thats why teams are the way they are, because the right people aren't coaching. I've seen a pop Warner coach that could out. Lacy a lot of coaches I the area and has more knowledge but he can't get a head coaching position because he doesn't work for the school system. And don't even get started about what the middle schools have as coaches, not good.

Yes I agree with you lethemplay...lot of good coaches in Pop Warner that should be coaching at the middle school level.

Coach Knotts works at Dutch Fork High School outside of Columbia, SC. The staff has 18 (yes, eighteen) coaches total.

And I forgot to mention there are over 200 players on four teams, varsity, junior varsity, B-team and C-team.

Do NOT know why most of you guys are so down on High School Coaches.
There are a few bad apples in any group, but most coaches are in it FOR THE KIDS !
They work long and hard with little pay, do you call that in it for themselves, I don't think so. If you have all the answers for what a COACH should be, then why are
you not out there coaching and helping these kids ?
