Not for Middle Creek or Holly Springs. If youre going into coaching at the high school level thinking youre going to get paid lots of money shame on you, yes they need to get payed more, but most coaches are coaching cause they love the game and teaching the kids. Coaches who are in it for this are the coaches who are the good ones who are winning. You want to talk about the coaches who dont make anything. Try coaching at the middle school level.

Good point oldcoach...not only have coaches not gotten raises but they also have not gotten assistant coaching stipends as well. I know that Johnston County has a lot more support coaches than Wake and Durham County also has several more assistant coaching positions as well as a flex positions as well.
So I guess when we are evaluating how much coaches are compensated, clearly your paid staff has a large effect on that as well.
