Carryball, I was a little upset, because back in Oct, you made the statement that Hinnant was a great athelete and good player, and yes you was right she did receive the Greater Neuse Player of the year. Plus she average alot of double, double which was not recorded. Yes, I am her mother, but I'm also her coach, and see the age of four I installed the fundamentals of basketball,so I know as a Park and Rec coach, Middle school Coach, and AAu coach, and if it was up to me,I would have,coached her in high school so she know the game well,and know she didn,t have set plays, by her coach, she average her 18pts per game, by taking her man off the dribble this is why she is capable of playing with guys at the park, because its a gift, as the South Carolina,Memphis, Wake Forest,VCU and the list goes on, but everyone has their opinion and I'm glad you thought much of my child earlier this year. I work Bell hard, and being a parent/coach sometimes it's not the easiest task,this is why I posted this statement so people wouldn't ask, Where did that Hinnant kid go to? Have a Blast Day! I'm out.

Relax, mom. Bell future now is in Miami. I know she'll continue to work hard on/off the court to enhance her opportunity when it present itself in 2013 or 2014. She know what she have to do now, to fulfill her dream. I have confidence in her, that she will do just that. We've competed against/with her. I know she'll be playing with a chip on her sholders. Watch!!

Cooke4sho, I'm very relax, but I will take up for any ball player daughter or not that I have coached in the past. First, Bell is happy with where she is heading and I know coach Summons is going to prepare her well. She doesn't have a chip on her shoulder because she will reach her dream if it is the Lord will. I just don't like the negative talk just I heard them talking about Sidney Cooke and her abilities to play at Seton Hall. I just say if you're going to scout a kid have your facts together like Lewis does as he ranks Bell at her position as a versatile athletic guard and I believe I received my information from Recruiting Nation Basketball/ESPN, I'm pretty sure you can find any rank player on this website, before comparing them to other players.Just Google their name then speak on fact,and not hatred. By the way cook you made the statement that you played w/and against her, now I need to figure out who you are. Just to let you know how sincere I am about this sport, I've been called to coach a Charlotte team at the Deep South,and I don't know a kid on the team, but I was told that they was some of the finest ball players out of Charlotte that will let you know that all want all kids to succeed, and I hope all the regular basketball critics feel the same about these young lady.

Cookie. Do what's n your heart. Because, you know it takes dedication, discipline, sacrifice, strong work ethic, and mental strength to be successful in any endeavor. Evidently, you've shown those characteristics for someone to look at u as the chosen one. Always, about giving back to the kids and your community. I'll be following Bell's progress next year. Tell Bell we said "go get it".

ntheweeds- this is Vernessa Bell Hinnant lady comets #14(PLAYER OF THE YEAR-proof). i am not gonna hide behind no fake name..i am going to tell u who i am up front.. first of all i am not going to get up here and bash you. cause that's not me..i'm 2 classy and got to much RESPECT unlike YOU(ntheweeds) but i will tell u this don't type about me unless u have something positive to say. i don't get up here and talk about u. Congrats to both young ladies.. I know the sacrifice,hard work and effort that went into developing their skills for the game over the past 10 years. Hopefully this next year the same effort will be applied in the classroom.. Go Get em Girls... JG
