Word is that they let Richmond go and are giving the job to the girls coach. I want to say he already has the men's job. It will be good to see what the AD does with the baseball coach, the season isnt going to good.

Baseball coach? Milton Senter is one of the finest baseball coaches in the state. If I'm not mistaken, he passed the 400 or 500 win milestone last year. The Tri-9 is an incredibly competitive baseball conf., and he has them in 3rd place currently.It is public school, and you can only coach who you have, Wow. Tough crowd!

Fuquay in general has struggled across the board this year. Leadership in the athletic department has to be part of the problem.

Sometimes they might not have the talent.just because youre at a big school doesnt mean youre going to have the talent in that sport year after year. Just cause a school has a off year in a sport, doesnt mean its has anything to do with the coaching or the leadership.

While I agree with that statement lbeck...I happen to know several things that has happened over the last 4 or 5 years that indicates there is something rotten going on. personally not a fan

Anyone have ideas about possible replacements for these positions? Any coaches looking to move or jv/assistant coaches looking to move up or will they be filled by people not currently in the area?

Williamsdez are you referring to Southern High School? If so the AD there is the baseball coach

Wonder if Kent will apply for the Broughton job. Perhaps Tapp will get promoted to head coach at Cary
