Any word on potential transfers? I hear TJ Evans maybe headed to Ravenscroft and apparently several Broughton players may be leaving, including Coach Gottfried's son.

Wow, if Evans went to Ravenscroft, that team would be tough! With Gill, Copeland, and Bryan all coming back, add Evans to the mix, sheesh...
Where would the Broughton players head...Assuming you speak of Gottfried, Hemphill, Graham, and Corchianni...
Potential for a couple good spots as there are some good Jrs in the Triangle area...Southwell Reynolds and Newkirk at WOG, Coger at Upper Room, Gill Bryan and Copeland at Ravenscroft, etc...

If T.J. Evans leaves Apex, I would really scratch my head at that move. He was the Player of the Year in a tough conference. He has good coaching and a system that works at Apex. What else does he need?

Ravenscroft do not take any seniors. If you are a Junior you will have to reclass. And all 4 from Broughton are Junior. Lets see if money talk and they get in at Ravenscroft.

Actually WOG has all juniors or below. In addition to Josh Newkirk and Donte Reynolds SheldonCooper left off Shane Whitfield and Jaylen Robertson (both invited to the Dave Telep Carolina Challenge along with Newkirk and Reynolds)also Jacquan Brownridge and Camden Scott are getting some college attention and then you have sophomore Stavian Allen. They should be formidable next year.

I said Southwell (thinking current K State guard and former Rice HS star), but meant Whitfield...He is a very very good player, I feel, the catalyst for that team (a very versitile player)...Newkirk will get his, but when Whitfield plays in his comfort zone they really look good, as a team...

Coaches are bad and lazy. Some kids have extreme helicopter parents but i think the majority leave because of uncaring and lazy coaches.
