After reading staciehall's most recent post above - I understand all that is being said there. I would add that I think a portion of what is being discussed in significantly connected with where I think a lot of this is coming from although the examples she provides are somewhat indirect.

Even with all the buzz that has been created by these two teams entering the pac 6 I think we welcome them with open arms.... Next season will begin a new chapter. I'm a Rocket fan and really don't want to travel to Pathers Creek or Green Hope but if we play there I'm going there. I know a couple of kids on both teams and they just want to play ball. So parents talk to kids and guide the right. We as parents have a major impact on how our kids represent their team as well as themselves and us as parents.

Don't think the other Tri-9 schools want Green Hope or Panther Creek especially since that whining noise is coming from over in West Cary. People are just tired of hearing them complain about everything....leadership is poor

Its obvious East fudged their attendance numbers to try to stay 3a (to maybe finally win a few football games?) They got caught, now they are going to go back to the PAC 6. Therefore, Panther Creek and Green Hope won't change conferences.

They didn't fudge anything. They had no idea what the cutoff number for 3a and 4a would be. Second, according to the News and observer we are talking about the difference between 1401 and 1441. Thats only 40 students. No fudge!

Shame East isn't coming down. As for Green Hope, the athletes will be fine playing wherever. The fans don't have to go if they don't want. Someone has to go to the conference, and it looks like GH and PC are the ones. No point trying to get out of it.

The deal with East happened year before last, that was known two years ago about the mishap. I'm like other people I think it is old hearing PC and GH whine all the time, if you are good then show up and play and let the kids have fun and compete not the parents. Parents you finished school along time ago, stop living thru the kids.

Although I think PC and GH are a bunch of baby's, they have a good argument and should win their appeal.
