Louisville offers Holly Springs senior WR Bryce Wheaton

Holly Springs, N.C. — Holly Springs standout wide receiver Bryce Wheaton received a scholarship offer Monday from Louisville, the senior announced via Twitter.
Wheaton now holds offers from Appalachian State, UNC-Charlotte, East Carolina, FIU, Georgia Southern, Georgia State, James Madison, Louisville, Miami (Ohio), Missouri, Southern Miss, Syracuse, Washington State.
Wheaton told HighSchoolOT on Tuesday that he will visit Louisville this week, in addition to Florida State and West Virginia.
The 6 foot 3, 205-pound receiver tallied 14 catches for 168 yards and two touchdowns in his junior campaign, according to Max Preps. He also recorded 10 caries for 144 rushing yards and two scores.
Wheaton also played on the defensive side of the ball, seeing time at defensive back. He tallied five tackles and registered a fumble recovery and interception, both returned for scores.
As a sophomore, Wheaton garnered 28 catches for 311 yard, posting an average of 11.1 yards per catch and added four touchdowns.
