Louisville offers Clayton junior DE Savion Jackson

Clayton defensive end Savion Jackson received a scholarship offer from Louisville Tuesday evening, the junior announced via Twitter.

Jackson also holds offers from Boston College, Duke, East Carolina, Florida, NC State, North Carolina, Penn State, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

Louisville becomes the ninth Atlantic Coast Conference to offer Jackson.

The standout defensive end tallied 51 tackles, with a team-high 19.5 for loss, and led the Comets with seven sacks last season. Jackson also registered one safety and one force fumble in 2016.
