The National Wrestling Coaches Association is recognizing Jordan High School's wrestling program in a national way.
For the second year in a row, Jordan was named a Gold Standard Best of Brand finalist – which seeks to recognize the top wrestling programs who market themselves in an innovative way.
One of the qualifications revolves around social media, and Jordan is very active on Twitter. You can follow their Twitter account @jordanwrestling.
There are 12 finalists, including Lake Norman High School near Charlotte. Others include Cypress Lake Wrestling Club (CLWC), Detroit Catholic Central High School, Easton High School, Edgemont High School, Hood River Valley High School, Legends of Gold, Osceola High School, Parkview High School, Peachtree Ridge High School, and Wyoming Seminary Prep.
Three programs will be named top program at the NWCA Convention in Fort Lauderdale at the beginning of August.
