Jack Britt lineman commits to Charleston Southern

Marshall Barnette will continue his football career in college this fall.
The Jack Britt offensive lineman verbally committed to play college football at Charleston Southern, according to Jack Britt football coach Brian Rimpf.
Barnette was a two-time all-conference player in the Mid-South 4-A Conference. He also played along the defensive line for the Buccaneers.
"I'm going to be a Buccaneer for a few more years," Barnette said.
Barentte stands at 6-foot-3 and 260 pounds. He ran a 5.59 second 40-yard dash, according to ESPN.com.
Jack Britt finished the 2013 season with a 9-4 overall record, falling to Garner in the second round of the N.C. High School Athletic Association 4-AA state playoffs.
