New Hampton High School’s boys basketball team will be one of the most talented teams at the Holiday Invitational this season.

This year will mark the first time New Hampton has traveled to Raleigh for the Holiday Invitational.

The Huskies are coming off a 14-9 showing last year, but they return one of the top players in the nation in Indiana recruit Noah Vonleh.

Vonleh, a 6-foot-8 and 220-pound power forward, is committed to the Hoosiers in November and signed his National Letter of Intent during the early signing period.

According to ESPN, Vonleh is a 5-star prospect, ranked the No. 3 power forward and No. 8 overall player in his class.

Prior to signing with Indiana, Vonleh also considered Connecticut, Georgetown, Kansas, North Carolina, Ohio State and Syracuse.

Anthony Pate, a 6-foot-3 point guard from the Class of 2014, will also make the trip with the Huskies. A 2-star prospect according to ESPN, Pate reports offers from Boston, Hofstra, Maine, Maryland-Baltimore County, and St. Bonaventure.

Jeremy Miller is a member of the Class of 2015 at New Hampton. The 6-foot-9, 200-pound center can play down low and on the perimeter. He is expected to become a highly recruited player out of New Hampton.

Senior point guard Travis Jorgenson is also a college prospect. Rated a 3-star player by ESPN, Jorgenson stands at 6-foot and 170-pounds.
