The HighSchoolOT.com Holiday Invitational started as an 8-team boys tournament in 1972 with teams from North Carolina. Over the last 40 years, the tournament has progressed into one of the nation's best.
Today teams from across the nation featuring some of the best high school talent come to Raleigh to compete against some of North Carolina's best. The 2012 Holiday Invitational runs Dec. 26 through 29, with boys games at Broughton High School and girls games at Cary Academy.
Players who have participated in the Holiday Invitational include ACC stars and NBA players.
