High School OT.com

Credentials for the 2012 HighSchoolOT.com Holiday Invitational are issued for working media only and should be requested as soon as possible due to space limitations and demand. Accredited working media will have first priority for credentials and all others will be on a space-available basis.

The deadline for credential requests is Friday, Dec. 21, 2012.

Credentials and media packets will be picked up at a press will-call table at Holliday Gymnasium. Only working media who are credentialed through Media Coordinator Bryan Hanks will be allowed in the media areas of Broughton High School's Holliday Gymnasium and the Cary Academy Fitness Gym. Those media areas include the post-game interview room (which doubles as a media work area), game-viewing tables above the court, press row, and the adjacent hallways to the tables and work room.

To request a media credential for the 2012 HighSchoolOT.com Holiday Invitational, send an e-mail to Bryan Hanks at bryanchanks@aol.com with the following information:

Name of media outlet
Type of media outlet (newspaper, Internet site, TV station, radio station)
Number of credentials requested
Name and title of each credential requestor
The teams you will be covering

Before you send your e-mail, please type "Holiday Invitational Credentials" in the subject line of the e-mail. Failure to adhere to any of these directions may result in the failure to obtain a media credential.

If you have applied for a credential, you should receive a confirmation from Bryan Hanks. If you do not receive a confirmation, contact Bryan Hanks immediately.

MEDIA POLICIES & RULES

Dress Code

It is important that those on press row and in the media room maintain a professional atmosphere. Members of the media should dress professionally at all times. Absolutely no team apparel will be allowed on press row.

Interviews

Absolutely no interviews may be conducted anywhere in the gymnasium except in the interview room. HighSchoolOT.com has exclusive rights to court side video interviews after each game. No other media outlets may conduct these interviews.

Following each game, coaches and select players from both teams will be escorted to the media room where a formal press conference will take place. These press conferences will be carried live exclusively on HighSchoolOT.com.

Video Restrictions

HighSchoolOT.com and WRAL-TV have exclusive video rights for the Holiday Invitational. Other media outlets are permitted to shoot video of the HighSchoolOT.com Holiday Invitational, but no other media outlets may air or post video until all games have concluded for the day.

Absolutely NO live video may be aired by any media outlet.

Radio

99.9 FM The Fan ESPN Radio and HighSchoolOT.com will air the championship games of the Summit Hospitality Bracket and American Airlines Bracket live on the radio and online.

Seating Restrictions

Corner seating to the right of the media workroom at Broughton High School is reserved for HighSchoolOT.com staff only. In addition, there will be limited corner seating to the left of the media workroom where a television set will be setup for HighSchoolOT.com use. No one is permitted to sit or otherwise use the set except for HighSchoolOT.com.

Seating will be available for media on the second floor of Holliday Gymnasium behind the basket directly in front of the media room and some seating will be available on the floor. Electricity will be available.

Box Scores

Official box scores and statistics will be made available at halftime and at the conclusion of each game. They will be distributed my Media Coordinator Bryan Hanks and available for pickup in the media room.
