Hillside's Thompson commits to Clemson

Hillside wide receiver Trevion Thompson verbally committed to Clemson on Sunday.
Antonio King, the head football coach at Hillside, confirmed Thompson's commitment to HighSchoolOT.com on Tuesday afternoon.
At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Thompson picked the Tigers over offers from California, Duke, Florida, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ohio State, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech, among others.
According to ESPN.com, Thompson is a four-star prospect and the No. 20 wide receiver in the Class of 2014.
Hillside finished the season with a 9-3 overall record, including a 5-0 mark in the PAC 6 4-A Conference. Thompson earned all-conference honors for his performance during the season.
