Oxford is home to one of the 2013 McDonald's All-American selections.
Isaiah Hicks, a forward at J.F. Webb High School, was selected to the all-star game on Thursday, the first McDonald's All-American from the school.

Hicks stands at 6-foot-8 and is a 5-star player. He has signed with the University of North Carolina.
Webb is currently tied for first in the Carolina 6 3-A Conference and is considered by many to be one of the top 3-A teams in the state.
Fellow UNC signee Kennedy Meeks, a 6-foot-9 center at West Charlotte High School, was also selected to the game.
Two Duke signees – Matt Jones (DeSoto, TX) and Jabari Parker (Simeon, IL) – were selected, as was NC State signee Anthony "Cat" Barber (Hampton, VA).
Hicks, Jones and Barber join Noah Vonleh (New Hampton, NH), an Indiana recruit, as HighSchoolOT.com Holiday Invitational alumni to be selected to the McDonald's All-American Game.
The McDonald's All-American Game is scheduled for Apr. 3, at 8:30 p.m. It will be shown live on ESPN.
