Greg Little to make donation to Hillside football program

Cleveland Browns wide receiver Greg Little will make a donation to the Hillside High School football program.

Little, a 2007 Hillside graduate, will present a $5,000 check to the school during halftime of the boys basketball game against Southern Durham on Friday.

The donation is expected to be matched by the NFL's matching grant program, which should provide Hillside with an additional $5,000 for its football program. The money will help purchase new uniforms, gear, equipment and upgrade facilities.

A native of Durham, Little went to North Carolina after graduating from Hillside. After his time at UNC, Little was selected by the Browns in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft with the 59th overall pick.

Hillside will also honor the newest Wall of Fame inductees at halftime of Friday's game – football coach Antonio King and former girls basketball player Nisha Watson.
