Green Hope's Blake Watson commits to Old Dominion

— Green Hope wide receiver Blake Watson has committed to Old Dominion, the senior announced Wednesday afternoon via Twitter.

The standout Falcon also held an in-state offer from Elon.

Watson tallied 40 receptions for 666 yards and nine touchdowns, all team-highs for Green Hope’s group last season. He also compiled 15 carries for 135 rushing yards and one score. Watson chipped in on Green Hope’s return game as well with 248 total return yard.

He led the Falcons with 1,079 all-purpose yards, with an average of 119 yards compiled per game.

Watson also appeared on the defensive side of the ball last season, recording six tackles and tallied one interception returned for a touchdown.
