Two local players were selected to the USA Baseball 15U National Team roster after a week of training camp.

Cardinal Gibbons' Noah Campbell, a infielder and outfielder, and South Granville's Justin Bullock, a right-handed pitcher and infielder, were both picked to represent the United States in the 2014 WBSC "AA" 15U World Cup in Mazatlan, Mexico.

Campbell and Bullock are the only two players from North Carolina selected to the team.

The roster was trimmed down to 20 players after 40 players participated in training camp during the past week.

The 20-man team will practice July 26-28 before flying to Phoenix, Ariz., for an exhibition game on July 29 at Chase Field. On July 30, Team USA will make the trip to Mazatlan.

Pool play begins on July 31. Team USA will face Panama, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan and Germany.

The 15U World Cup runs through Aug. 11.
